I don’t have much to say, but felt the need to purge. Let’s see…I took Brandon to get his haircut today. Even though he still cried, it was not nearly as bad and we had a huge breakthrough. He actually climbed into the airplane chair by himself! I have always had to force him in and it is not pretty. He was easily distracted and set still for most of it. Now that I have been taking him to the same girl for a while (Tammy is a God send) we can talk about how much better he is getting and everything feels like a victory. It is kind of fun! The fact that the second she is done cutting Brandon starts smiling and being his usual adorable self, helps me remember that I am not hurting him by making him cut his hair. Our next hurdle is to get him to wear a cape, especially as the weather gets colder. He usually leaves the salon with no shirt on, but we won’t be able to do that much longer. Some people have suggested having someone else take him, because he tends to be so much more cooperative when I am not around, but I can’t seem to relinquish my power. SO, if you ever hear me complain about Brandon being too clingy or only wanting me to do things, don’t feel too bad…I have come to grips with the fact that it is all my fault. That’s why I am convinced that with the next baby we should have a full time nanny from the beginning, so I don’t make the same mistakes. Hmmm….do you think Joe will buy that? And does anyone know a nanny that will work for fudge and pumpkin cheesecakes?
Brandon just came into the guest room and decided to color on the carpet with crayon…I don’t even know what to say about that. It is something new every day! Well, since that effectively broke my concentration and I now have to go clean the carpet, I will go. By the way, sorry I have not had many pics lately but we have had a suprisingly un-photogenic couple of weeks. I am having professional pictures taken next week and will post those or the link to the photographers site as soon as I can. Thanks for reading!!!!!!!!
